Default Internal antenna on a Del Sol?

Hey, I had an idea for a nice project just curious how well it would work.

My friend's Integra has an internal antenna. My Del Sol doesn't. Personally I think my car looks like a remote control car with the antenna up, but doesn't receive good reception with it down.

My idea was to get an internal antenna from an Integra, wire it into my car, maybe run it through that back bar thingy (not sure what it's called) and just fill the hole where the current antenna is.

Any thoughts, suggestions, or ideas?

go for it. I hate when my antenna is up. Remote control car sums it all up. do it and take some pics and do a write up on it.

Yeah, I'm going to stop at the local junkyard tomorrow. My town is small but we have a junkyard with 5 Del Sols. Most are partless, but I need a turning light.

I will see what they have for internal antennas on their Integras. Anybody tell me where the antenna is on them?

Can't you just check out your friends car for location. I've been thinking about doing something similar. I can't wait to see how yours turns out.

Yeah I would check but I just have no clue where to look And he's with it in Florida now for a month, so will be a while before I get the chance to. I'll ask the guys at the junkyard tomorrow maybe one of them knows.

I hope this doesn't sound stupid but at least on the expeditions and most of the wireless fords, they are on one of the rear side windows. They look like side glass defrosters.

LOL, definately true... my buddy has a 02' blazer extreme and i used to have a del Sol low to the ground w/ some ricey **** on it. he would cruise around behind me downtown with someone hanging out of the passenger side window with a remote control and i'd swerve a little to give it that added effect. it was custom, lol.

as for helping out i'd check out majestic honda's site for where it may be located.

That's where I thought it was too. I just wasn't sure. This guy at work says it's like that for his accord.
