Default obd 2 to obd 1 99 civic ex

i have a 99 civic ex and have basic upgrades. my question is if i do a obd2 to 1 conversion what will the benefits be and will i get rid of that pesky cel light that is coming from my second 02 sensor cause of my test pipe.

easy to tune
not as picky
no 2ndary o2 needed (so yes cel cleared)
better programs...or...just has programs

the obd2 will always ajust for best epa not for power
going to the obd1 will let you use re chiped computers than you will see a nice increase.

Since OBD I allows the cancellation of the secondary O2 sensor, what happens during emissions time? Do you simply plug in the OBD II Ecu and the secondary O2 sensor? Also, do you need to block off the hole for the secondary O2 sensor when you switch to OBD I or can you just leave it exposed?
