Map Sensor Problem....Car won't even start
I have a 88CRX Si with a B16 and I was idiling and the car died. Now it won't start sounds, like it isn't even sparking. Pulled plugs and everything. Timing is good, plugs work and spark, plug wires are good, got fuel pressure and fuel, and good compression...I started testing sensors and the one on the map sensor reads 5v for the green and yellow wire but for the green and white wire I get only .05v I still get a good reading on my VAFC for the manifold pressure, but the car won't even start...Please any idea's....Will my stock CRX Si computer work enough to get the car to start to see if that's the problem or do I have to have a b16 one? Please help.. I also have no CEL
try using the Stock CRX map sensor on the firewall if u still have it
that way u can see if it doesnt start due to the MAP
if not then check for codes and check waht else might be the problem

Acording to the crx manual I checked the map on the firewall and it is fine. What I'm worried about is the wiring harness showing the wrong voltage. I assumed that the ecu might be fried, so I plugged in my stock si ecu and the car still doesn't start....Please help, I'm out of ideas.
