Default Help me get my heat workin!!

I have a 95 Hatch with GSR Dash and Dash Harness...when my friend installed my head unit he grabed the wire that the heat slider is connected up 2 and said, wtf is with your antenna...little did i know that wire is connected to the slider and moves in and out....my heat does not work now...where do i reconect that metal piece to so it pushes or pulls whatever has to be moved to get my heat to get hot. It blows air fine, just never gets hot now. Thanx

First off your gonna need a flashlight and get way back under there. I was havign this same problem with my cold air and heater. The thign that came loose shoudl have a tiny little clip that it plugs into. But my problem was when turning the **** on the climate control it woudl stop at tend but it wasnt hot, and it seemed liek it could go farther over. So i ran my hand all the way back on that thign that came loose, and youll feel a lever that is adjustable. Play wiht that and turn it toward passenger side and it shoudl heat things up a bit.

Sounds like same prob I was having, and sorry if that doesnt make much sense, but it's alot easier in person than tryign to explain.

Btw where are you, how cold is it?

theres no **** 2 turn...its a slider on my Climate control, which controls a thin stiff metal wire, with a black flexable sheath around it, thats obviously supposed to push and pull on something...

Yeah thats what mien is, Follow the thin metal line back to the slider/lever thigny and pull it, it will move, see wwe had mine toward the drivers sid efor summer so my air was cold, but then when it got cold recently i went to turn **** and it woudlnt go but 3/4 of the way on the dash climate control. Try moving it without the metal thingy clipped. Get it hot and then clip it in place, should work, i did it on mine saturday

right...but the thin metal line is not hooked up to anything...i assume its hooked up to the slider cause if i move the slider the thin metal piece moves in and out of the sleeve..., but that part is just dangleing, where does that get hooked up to?

Mine clipped into the off white plastic area, if you look there a small clip holder, that holds the metal line. ITs very small and youll need some light to see it.

ok, how do u suppose i get to it, pull the head unit out and through the DIN's? or the passenger side under the dash? I can clearly see/play with the metal piece through the dins when i have my Headunit out, is the place where you attach it accessable through there?
