forged internals in ls/vtec
k...here it goes....i was reading in a search that if i use foreged rods and pistons theres no need to worry about the lack of oil squirters in the ls block...is this true?
will the engine last along time if i go this route and get forged internal?
also would i have to use a block girdle on the ls/v?

Yes this is true, since the aftermarket forged pistons have better cooling characteristics there is no need for the oil squirter. This is why i reccomend ls/vtec projects to use Forged pistons, not the oem cast ones.
