b16 swap in eg
I know this question has been asked many times. i have a 92 dx hatch and i hydrolocked my motor, so im lookin around for a motor, i was thinin about swappin a d16z6 in and tranny, but now im statin to think about a l or b16 swap. i was wondering if i bouht the complete b16a2 sir swap from hmotorsonline would i need anything else to get it in my car and running? i can juts use the harnes and ecu the give me right? i dont have to run any wores for vtec, i can just swap out my harness and ecu?
everything they send you will work fine except the harness, your car should be prewired for VTEC, so just find a civic EX or Si harness and your set, or run the Vtec wires your self, you will also need to run a wire for Knock sensor(either way). running the wires your self is alot better than paying for a new harness IMO

the reason why you can't use the harness on that engine is because it's designed for the RHD cars where your car is a LHD car. just reuse your stock civic harness and add the correct wires: knock sensor, etc...
btw b16a2= usdm
b16a sir= jdm
b16a2 sir=?
