B16 swap into EG question
I am thinking about swapping a B16a2 into my hatch. Hondamotorsonline says swaps come with ECU and wiring harness, so my question is since I will be doing the swap myself, if i just put the motor in and use the supplied wiring harness and ECU (p30 I believe) would that work and/or what other wiring problems might I encounter? TIA

you need to use your stock wiring harness then run wires for vtec and knock sensor
the jdm harness will not work.
and you can use the p30.

Re: B16 swap into EG question (ForceFedEG)
If you don't have an EX than your interior wire harness won't have the proper wires. So, you will need to add the three wires from your ecu to the shock tower plugs. Usually when place give you the harness it's just the motor harness that plugs into the shock tower plugs.
