No, it's Friday, please go away. [MAINT REQ Light]
I hopped in the car to run out and get some tequila when it struck. As soon as I turned the ignition the orange MAINTENANCE REQUIRED light came on immediatly and blinked 10 times before shutting off.
I turned the car off, turned it back on, same thing. I drove around the block, turned it off, back on, same senario.
Any suggestions, know what's up with the ten blinks before vanishing? Thanks guys.

it's scheduled to do that at a certain interval of miles. there is a button under the dash on the right side of the steering wheel. just put the key in the on postion and hold that button down until the light turns off
Really? That easy, eh? Hell with my VW/Audi you had to take the damn thing to the dealer to reset a CEL ($75 a pop).
Any idea what it means though?
Thanks man.

Its a reminder to take your car in for service soon.
Want to get rid of it? I'm assuming you have a teg.
1. Sit in your car and turn the key.
2. Reach under your steering column on the right side (if your facing the wheel which you should be if your sitting in the car). There should be a litte button.
3. Hold that button and the blinking light will go away.
Someone had a pretty unique diagram on where it is but that should do it.

They just top off all your fluids, and maybe adjust your valves. Biggest waste of money Ive ever spent.
