can we bore out the b18c1 block to get 200liters?if yes,what bore size?n i did search,there nuthin

 

as far as i know you need to have the block resleeved to get it to that size.

 

yea, 84.5mm will do it. sleeves are needed

I think you will have to go bigger then 84.5 to get to 200 liters.

 

how much bigger then?

 

gsr motor w/ 84.5mm bore- 1956cc
85mm bore- 1979cc
85.5mm bore- 2002cc

 

84.5 is for LS bottem ends... you would need 85.5 to get 2.0 out of a gsr bottem end.

 

my bad, forgot gsr;s have a 87.2 stroke. regardless, i wouldint go over 85mm. some others here would though...upto 87mm!! thats a hair away from a perfectly square motor
