Default quick battery drainage question

i've searched and read through a few winter storage tips for my R, but my situation is a little different. i am in school and only come home on the weekends to drive my car. it's been really cold lately and i figured since i drive my car once a week would eliminate the need to take the battery out or get a battery charger (warmer). anyway, i got home today and tried to start the car, but the battery was dead. nothing was left on and i drove the car last on sunday. should i just take the battery out for the week until i come on the weekends? also, should i put in the gas stabilizer just to be safe? TIA. sorry for the kinda long post.

I'd say a trickle charger would come in handy.
Short weekend rides won't necessarily fully charge up your battery.

your battery died 1 week after not driving it?

my dad started my car about once a month... and it started up all the time.

Yup, I'd say that would do nicely.
Stabil isn't going to help your BATTERY!

my battery has died again. my brother has been driving the car daily so i know the battery is charged fully. he said that it only happens overnight and he makes sure all the lights are off. my negative battery terminal wiggles around enoughto be easily slipped off, but there is always a connection. any more ideas?

btw, this is happened probably a total of 5 times this winter. it started when winter started around november, but it does not even get really cold here.
