I need to know if 205's will fit on 14X6" rim
I have a set of 14X6" rims that were given to me just lying around in my garage and I need to buy tires for them to use on autocross weekends. I want to order them soon from Tireack but I need to know if I can order the 205's or do I need to stick with the 195's. I'm buying the Kumho Victoracers by the way.
Well if you say 225's will fit, then I guess I should go with the biggest one for better grip right? Where can I get a set of 225's? I was going to go with the Victoracers but I think the largest that they come in for a 14X6" is 250. I could be wrong; Ill double check.
tirerack.com should have a list of available sizes. I know toyo makes both a 205 and 225/xx/14 in their RA-1 tire. (tirerack doesnt sell toyo, btw).
Is there another tire option that will yield good results? I was originally sticking with either the Victoracers or the Azenis. Feedback as to which I should go with will be much appreciated
.
Oh yet I forgot to ask if a 14" rim is good or bad? I just plan on using them because A: I have them and B: I thought that a 6" rim would be fine. Am I wrong for assuming this?

It also depends on what car you are running them on. I don't think something like the 225s will fit on a stock(unmodified fenders) CRX or 4th gen hatchback.
I'll be running them on my 1999 Si. I have the stock 15's right now that I use w/ 195's. I've been autocrossing for 1 year now. I'm running in SM because of the modifications to my car.
I'd use the victoracers in 205.
If you can find a set of cheap 15" stock integra wheels, you can often pick up a set of 205/50/15 r-tires pretty cheap (used of course).

So in your guys opinion, either the 15" or 14" will work fine with the 205's. Not to get technical and all but if I can find a set of 215's, they might work out a little better.
P.S. If I'm running in the SM class will I be able to use the 14" rims? Will using them change my class?
