I have a 91 dx hatch. We swapped a 93 si motor into it, and used the 93 si harness, and an obd2-to-obd1 jumper harness with the 93 si ecu to wire it all up. Well, recently the 93 si motor blew. We replaced it with a jdm d15 vtec, and used the same wiring, ecu, tranny, intake, etc. Basically...the only thing new was the head and block off the d15. ok...now, all the connectors have been put back into place, and the battery charged, fluids filled, and it wont start. We chacked the ecu and there were 2 wire that were pinched by the cover, and we fear it did damage to the ecu.

The old motor still start prior to the swap, just had the bad piston knock, so i didnt think it was an electrical issue. We rechecked all the sensors, plugs, so on and so forth, and everything appears to be legit, but its getting no spark to the external coil. and no fuel is flowing to the fuel filter while the accessory is on...does anyone have any ideas about what it could be??? I am guess ecu, but I dont know, and dont wanna spend the money if it could be something really simple...please note...all my fuses are good, the motor is new from japan, fluids are good, theres gas in the tank, the connections are made, but it wont turn over...it starts to crank, but does not turn over...help!!!
