Dont ask why. Dont ask who.. Just tell me if it can be done without any major hassle.

I know a b18a will bolt into an EG chassis, but will the d16 fit into the generation 2 integra chassis.

I know of the different transmissions but i hear b-series hydro conversions in g2's are quite easy, so why cant d-series be too.

I also do not know if the d16 axles will bolt up.

I'll have to convert my car to obd1, and get obd1 **** for the obd2 d16y7..

Does anyone know if this would work ?

i know you would have a lot of room for crazy *** turbo if u do that but i dont think the teg would move do to power.. u might be able to do the swap with custom mounts. Since im a fellow 90 integra owner i want to see this once you done..

Well thats what i want to do, but I dont want to give many details about it, incase the plan doesnt fall through, and I planned on making a thread about what I want to do if it can work...

Why would custom mounts be needed. I searched last night and came across a 94- integra that had a d16y8 engine in it.

Interesting. I have a D16z6 Si and a 2000 GSR and wondered the same thing. I'd really like to put that B18C1 into the hatch, but I don't think the GSR would be happy with that little dinky Z6.

idlike to do the same. MY LS took a good hit on the side and there were no whitnesses so id like to take my motor out and put it in a hatch and put a D in the LS so I can sell it as a running car. Im not sure about a DA, but in a DC it should work fine with EG mounts and axles.

Pretty sure you are right....the DC is based on the EG chassis if I'm not mistaken.

I have a 95 gsr with a d16 in it right now!! moves alright but but the wiring was done wrong so the car bogs alot, other than that the car runs fine. yeayea I know its coming out soon.

Well i guess the question is, can a GSR engine be put into a 2nd generation integra, WITH the GSR mounts.. NOT the 2nd gen mounts?

dont worry about the transmission difference just yet.
