Default Installed SOHC in DC2 chassis~ =) New member DSee2!!!

Ok here's the story behind this fun week. I picked up a 1995 GSR rolling chassis a few months back with the intention of making it my brothers beater car. I paid $2500 for a clean title car sans interior and motor from a fellow h-t member~

Here she is~

No B-series Dont worry we got something special in store for you~

No interior either~ Anyone have any regular integra seats???

Picked up this bad boy for FREE!!! Yup, a 1998 Civic EX motor n tranny. We used a OBD 1 GSR harness (wired up by AEOLUS!!) and found some mounts (thanks tuan). She's drippin wet ready to be slid into the......wait........

Heres the monster goin in.....

Bolted up and ready to hunt down bitches with my R~

Old school Black GSR with SOHC. The best looking beater ever~

To top off the beater list, also picked up a 1990 B package Miata with hardtop for $2,000.

Total cost of putting the car together comes out to $3,000~

My brother is now officially a member of the Honda-Tech family! Its not an R but its unique!!

Now the car will weigh about the same as a 98 Civic Ex coupe, so it should accelerate about like that. Should run ok.

Tell him that he's saving ~60lbs by using that motor over the B series DOHC VTEC

yeah that is fun, when I worked at a shop a couple years back, my boss was between motors and needed to get around so we swaped a 95 dx motor in to a 2000 GSR with JDM front end. It ran like crap, but it got him from point a to b.

Give him a 6o shot and let it eat, single cams are cheap.
