storing r on the weekend

Default storing r on the weekend

i`m going to put the snows on in case the beater breaks down, question do i have to put the car on stands.

i don't put my R on stands.....I just start it up and drive it around in my underground parking lot every 2-3 weeks

fill up the tank and add fuel stabilizer as well

no i`ll be putting it away for the winter about, 5 months here in canada.and is gas tank stablizer a good idea

Yes. Not essential, but a good idea.

And there's no need to start it during the winter. You can just let it sit.

Just do something about the battery - either put a charger on it (the kind that monitors the charge and shuts off to prevent overcharging) or remove it and take it into the house.

mine isnt on stands, its been siotting **** since like May or June .i just recently took the ebrake off and put blocks under the tires so it wont move, just becuase it seemed like the calipers were stickign . or squeeling when i moved it around the garage.

Make sure your ebrake is off. You dont want to seize the line.

the good thing about this is that no more worries about thieves... or just maybe less worries...

It aint always easy owning a R!

I love the R in winter! With decent snow tires its quite fun to drive around with some inches on the ground.
