Default is it my ignition timing?

Okay so it usually takes like 10 seconds to start the car when it hasn't been driven in a long time, 2+ hours.. But if I click it to the last position for a second and bring it back to ign1, and bring it back to start the motor, it starts in a second.. Was that comprehendable? Someone told me it was ignition timing.. What's needed to 'fix' this? Is it my starteR?

Well if you can hear the starter crank as soon as you turn the key, its not that. I haven't heard of this particular problem before but it almost sounds as if you're losing fuel pressure while it sits.
aka: the fuel pump has to fill the lines from the tank forwards and is taking a couple seconds to do so...

SO! What might be the solution to my problem? Well it's not really a PROBLEM but an inconvinience.. People think my car dies or somethign when I start my car that way.. do I need an fpr and just turn the pressure up?

ok, here's the ghetto tech:
1. let the car sit for a couple hours, then unscrew the bolt ontop of the fuel filter on the left of the firewall. If it hisses or squirts you in the eye its holding pressure and youre fine.
2. tug out the back seat and put your hand ontop of the fuel pump, then have someone turn on the ignition. Feel the vibration as it runs for a sec? You should be ok there if you do.
3. If 1 and 2 seem ok I'd try swapping your injectors and/or resistor pack of you have a 4 injector setup.
