Default ARP rod bolts nesscarry for mild lsvtec setup?

like the title says is it really nesscarry if the highest rpm i plan on going is 7800 - 8000?

I don't understand why you wouldn't get them. They cost next to nothing, considering the cost of a full re-build.

Do you really want to risk a spun rod bearing?

Yes, they are necessary.

A snapped rod bolt is a snapped rod bolt, forget the spun bearing... Make sure if you get them, to get the rods resized and fitted with the bolts in them. I tell everyone to get them, but I don't have them, but then again, I've never had a problem with them revving below 8500, but don't listen to me though... just get them.

Stock LS rod bolts are known to stretch at high RPM = spun rod bearing.

I spun a bearing on mine too! I would recomend you get them I only reved to 8000rpm Rob
