EGR box questions

EGR box questions
I had a post up a couple day ago about this... i have a civic VX that now has a GSR and we took my old motor out and put it into my friends CX .. well it doesn't run right.. people told me that he needs the EGR box for it to run good... my question is how do i get it off and hook it back up into his car... and will it mess my car up at all because it is hooked up to the wire harness (comes off the top of the box and runs down)

oh ok... well i'm running the p28 in my car and my buddy is runnin the p07 but i'm talkin about that black box on the firewall with the vac lines comin out of it.. somebody told me it was the EGR box so idk...

Im pretty sure that a p28 ecu doesnt look for EGR also. I might be wrong but Im not sure.
You sure its not the evaporator canister your friend is talking about.
