Default Tein SS vs H&R Cup? Or another suspension?

Just was wondering some thoughts comparing the Tein SS vs the H&R Cup 'coil-overs'.

The car will be daily driven and seeing autoX pretty frequent. I want a good setup. I do not want to buy something and then want something better in the future..

What ya guys think?

Anybody? After some hardcore searching, found out the Tein SS isn't that great of a suspension. Heard some good stuff on GC w/ the Koni's.

Anybody know where I can read some more info on spring rates and which are best for daily driver/autox?

Thanks

I've been trying to research the same thing. Have found that the AGX's are pretty decent too. I had the Yellow Koni's before and did like them.

really what it boils down to is how much you are willing to spend. We need an estimate of how much are want to drop on a suspension so we can give options on the best bang for your money.

Suspension is one thing I am not gonna cheap out on.. I am willing to spend from $500-1300 if I have to.. I just want something good enough that I will not be wanting something else in the future. Something that will last, etc.. Seems like the GC/Koni combo custom stetup might be the best bang for my buck?

i got the h&r cup kit its pretty good it dont have adjustable ride height but you can get ground controls for them later on if u wanted. i like these better then tein ss is that the shocks are adjustable teins cant b adjusted.

I love my Tein suspension. It's my third suspension. I've been through skunk2 / tokicos, H&R with Tokicos and the Tein suspension is def. my favorite. It rides extremely well -- I never bottom out or bounce like with the skunks, and it way outhandles the H&R sport tokico combo. Tein also has a lifetime rebuild warranty. Bottom line is that you get what you pay for pretty much. The Tein SS susp. is expensive, but IMO it's the best street suspension I've ever seen. Just a sidenote: I have no experience with the H&R cup.

JIC MAGIC http://www.jic-magic.com

best $1500 I ever spent. seriously, this is one of the best suspension setup's out there. everyone of my friends have a set. they have the SF1 for about $1000 and the FLTA2 for about $1500.
