My car is dead....
So yea, today my car died.
Its dead, it will not turn over. I dont hear the starter engaging, the battery seem's to have enough voltage, i didnt have a multmeter handy to check it. Light's are on everythign else work's, stay's on does not dim.
I tried to jump it, but got NOTHING. Checked all my ground's too, and there all secure.
So..... that lead's me to beleive, its my starter. But what else could it be? Possibly a blown fuse? Im frustrated and angry so im out of idea's right now, it is 11:30pm, adn i would like to get my car home tonight.
Anyone wiht idea's post up.

Did this happen out of the blue? Are you SURE there is enough voltage in the battery. My friend had a similar situation, where his headlights, radio, etc... all worked but it still ended up being his battery....
Yea just out of the blue, i drove to work, turned car off.... 8hr's later, time to go home. Hop in car.... and nothing, but the battery cant be that dead, its only 5 or so months old.
I didnt have a multi-meter handy. And its now 12, so there is pretty much no way, to get a "honda" sized battery at an auto store. Im thinkin about taking the battery out and takin it to the gf's house, to charge it.
This has happed to me before, but it was my VSS/Alternator fuse had blown. I am now running a P28 ecu. And my Spedo never stopped workin, so im assuming that my alternator has been working also.
When i turn it over i get, NOTHING. As in the starter is not engaging at all, but again, i dont see how the battery could be that low. Seeing as it is only a few month's old.

So yea, i recharged my battery... still nothign. Im probally gonna try and push start it, and if that doesnt work, i guess im gonna have to call mr tow truck, and figure out just what is wrong with it...
Im thinkin starter...
Im thinkin starter...
try to yea push start, or whatever that thing is called when you bump start
try that
it might be your starter
hit that bitch with a long *** screw driver a few times, and hit it hard, that seems to usually do the trick for me, and atleast you can get it somewhere to check it out and see if it is the starter
check it out

This actually works according to my freind and fellow member. He says that the starter mechanism sometimes can freeze up, and by hitting it with a stick, hammer or screw driver you can get the starter to work again. I probably did a shitty job explaining it but its worth a try.
For me you also might try to check if the remote signal is connected to the starter. While I was in line at the track, 5 cars away from staging lanes, my car just wouldn't even crank, I was soo spooked, but found the problem to be the remote signal wire, and plugged it back in. Fired right up.
Lastly, the great things about sticks is that you can pop the clutch and atleast get it home. If all of the above is not the answer, pop that sucker and get it home and worry about it in the comfort of home base.

I had to drive to school today, and it seem's to be acting fine. I keep having a weird problem with my spedo though.
It will just dance all over the from 40-100 and then stop working, and then drop and dance up and down. I need to check into that...
