Im curious as I'm a ***** to the jdm (I like it, thats why) but thats one piece I dont have just cause I dont think they hook up easily so if you have it and it works what did you have to do to wire it all up correctly so it works.

And I know how to take mine out and put the jdm one in (haha)! Its just a matter of wiring it up. Not like how the cluster just plug and play.

the jdm climate control is totally different than the u.s. if you can wire that up your the champ. but if you score a jdm climate control just switch the faceplate and the bulbs. the end

 

I already have a JDM cluster but don't know what to remove and switch to my USDM cluster to have the Amger look. They say just switch the faces but does that include the buttons. And if so how do you get the buttons off??

I have taken every screw off of my JDM unit but I still can't get it apart to where I know what I'm doing.

Anyways thanks and ill look under your boys name and see. I know the wiring is crazy hard to do. I dont think you can easily just switch the face plates at all.

Amber bulbs wouldnt do me any good as they are totally different looking!

and i just did another search and nothin came up. I found 1 thread and it had 3 replies anbout bulbs being amber ( a few) and rest green

 

Removing the faceplate is pretty straight forward, no screws or anything. If you have the climate control out, its pretty easy.

That's what i did. way easier than trying to wire up the jdm climate control.
