What are the symptoms of a bad Throw-Out bearing??
car running in neutral:
foot on clutch.....no noise
foot off clutch....hear an "engaging" and the engine sounds louder.
Or, you may just hear a nasty rattle and grinding noise if it's really bad

when in neutral/idle i hear a little tinkering sound from the passenger side engine-bay area of the car. it sounds a little rotational and its high-pitched. not very loud, but can be heard when radio is off.
sound goes away when i press on the clutch.
i just had my clutch and flywheel replaced about 700 miles ago.
could what i'm hearing be my T-O bearing?
if so, does it sound normal considering i got an aftermarket clutch/flywheel (ACT)?

sounds like the TO bearing.
Is it more like a humming or more like a grinding??
WHat kind of TO bearing did they install???
Mine makes a humming noise when cold.
My room mated ITR makes no noise...warm or cold with ACT clutch setup, and my friends turbo GSR Civic makes no noise with CLutchmasters clutch setup and OEM TO bearing...for examples

Sounds like what happened when mine went bad at 50,000 miles. Now I thinking mine might be bad again just 10,000 miles later
Is this a common problem with integras?

it does not grind at all, and the clutch feels awesome otherwise.
it's an OEM TO bearing.
the sound is almost like a spinning tink-tink-tink-tink sound (if that makes any sense). high-pitched. more annoying than anything else, and most people wouldn't even notice it. i just know it's there so it's hard not to focus on it.
plus, the stress of wondering if something is wrong while i have 3 months on my warranty is getting to me.

I thought I had a bad T O bearing but wound up being the bearings in the tranny.
Have a very experinced tranny guy take a look- I did but thought he was crazy and paid no attention, months later: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=654127
Beware!
