Is it a stock clutch?

I replaced mine with a Kevlar / ceramic bully clutch and Aluminum flywheel. For the first bit there was a definate whirring noise... Not a rubbing or friction sound though.

its an aftermarket stage 2...it sounds like a whirring noise only when I push it in. checked the fluids and everything looks good. I have no idea what it would be.

did you change the pilot bearing on the flywheel? and the throw out bearing? if not it could be that.... or it could be the quality of the bearings just suck or a bad batch. thats all i could think of it being.

faulty throw out bearing. is the noise heard only when the clutch pedal is fully depressed? if so i would suspect pilot bearing. most likely throw out bearing though. good luck.

the flywheel was swapped for a lightened one, and I was hoping it wasnt the pilot bearing...im feeling really lazy right now and dont want to tear everything apart right now. Been working 70+ hours all summer so I barely have time to do anything.

Forgot to mention that the noise gets louder as I give it gas.
