Default is it bad to "slip" a puck clutch

Have had my Action 2md in for just over a week. Love it so far!
great clutch, and very streetable!!!!

my only concern is when daily driving, i can basically slip it to make it engage smoothly.
Like I can feel it kinda of chattering(no sound but you can feel it wanting to grab) so ill hold it there for a second and the car will start to move then ill let it all go and it will engage smoothly. it doesnt always make that chatter feeling, but sometimes it does. other times i basically drop it at 1200 rpm and and somewhat lurches forward but not too bad

Im just wonderring if letting it rub the flywheel like that will wreck the flywheeel or clutch pucks themselves?

NOTE TO ALL: the action clutch DOES NOT really chatter at all. No noises, nothing violent..just a slight vibration and feeling of it wanting to grab onto the flywheel.
so dont get yourself confused !
Its a great clutch

i have the same clutch.. and drive it like you described.. I kinda let it slip a little..

I'm sure letting it slip at low speed/ low load isn't goint to harm anything as much as a launch would.

ps.. I LOVE my 6puck unsprung.

got the same clutch too...drive it the same way. Its such a low load that I really dont think it will matter. Its really a great clutch though.

I have the same 2MD and do the same but sometimes the clutch bites suddenly making a chirping noise and the car lunges forward. I have to 'deglaze' the wheel now and again to stop/minimise this undesirable effect.

Well it will chew through your flywheel if you slip it but it just a trade off, your more likely to break your tranmission if you drop the clutch all the time engine mounts will wear out real quick to. But try and slip it as little as possible.

Bisi used a Action 6 puck sprung disc to run 10's. Used for 4-5 years.

I know what clutch I'm going with.
