I bought a Synapse missing link, is doing ok. But my friend has check valves, he said check valves works better. Is that true? Accord 2002 F23A1 Turbo

The missing link works fine and looks 110% better than a row of check valves

Check valves tend to malfunction sooner or later. Definetely install the missing link, you will be happy you did. It also looks a hell of a lot cleaner then having a 6 inch long octopus looking tenticle hanging around your intake manifold.
