greddy kit won tspool until 4k
i am running off the wastegate right now and the damn thing wont spool till about 4k. thats only 5psi. there are no boost leaks. ive check. i noticed when i changed the iacv that there was little specs of aluminnum in the screen. could this be the turbo touching down and destroying itslef?

What do you mean your running off the wastegate?
do you mean there is no vaccum hose connected to the waste gate.
On my greddy kit I didn't get full boost till about 4k also, 7psi. It really didn't pull hard until 5k.
People on here tend to say they reach full boost at a lower RPM then they actually do.

That stock Greddy downpipe is ridiculously small. Still, even my friend's car (2000 Civic Si) with 3" everything (including DP), it wasn't spooling till about 3800.

well i think i am buyin super 60 or what ever you call it.
.48 ar turbine
.63 ar compressor
60 trim
i think that should yiled some good numbers at 10 psi.
with zex cam and minor head p&p tuned with my zdyne gold i want to see 230whp.

Those numbers don't make much sense. Is it the Super 60 or the 60-1? Those turbos are not even close to being the same. One is good for about 300whp. The other is good for about 600 whp.

A turbo with a bigger housing, will actually spool HIGHER.... I'm not commenting specifically on those choices, but make sure you choose the size very carefully!
I have 3in exhaust now, I start to spool ~3k and hit full boost at 3.5K.
