i have a 97 ls auto with a greddy kit intercooled, i am running stock boost and i have a apexi n1 catback with a stock cat running 91 octane. can anyone gimmie a guess on how much i am putting down, my car is being shipped overseas and i didnt get to dyno it before it left.

 

92=7 ls auto. hmmmm. stock boost on greddy kit. 180whp is my guess.

 

hrm, how do you dyno auto cars? Never thought about that.

180 sounds safe, depends on transmission losses, I don't know jack about autos.

I guess if "stock psi" is 6 psi i would say 180whp and 160 ftlbs.

I don't understand when poepl say stock psi, Hondas don't come turbo charged.

he is refering to the stock boost on the greddy kit (i.e. no boost controller)

I know that's why i said 6 psi. I just hate the phrase "stock psi" when it refers to a honda.

I would say more like 140-150ish. Autos have a 25% loss , compared to about a 10% loss on manuals. The greddy ls kit dyno says about 164hp non intercooled. The auto would make about 15% less than that.

 

I tuned an LS auto with the hack and it made 190whp at 9psi. On 5.5psi with the bluebox greddy kit I would say around probably 160-170whp is feasible.
