Ok, when i'm driving and pressing the gas, even any gas, like 2% thorttle, there is no sound, but once i let go and let the car decel in any gear, i hear this continous squeaking noise.... could this be the turbo or some other ****????

i tried just clutching in and going into neutral while slowing from 50 or so, no noise, it's only when the engine is under decel load it makes the noise.. maybe turbo is still getting some exhaust pulses to drive it and it's squeaking???

i even tried going into neutral and just revving it, revving it while slowing down in neutral didn't make noise either!!!! wtf is going on??????????

Perhaps your gearbox main bearing is on the way out, listen (carefully) at idle does it make a noise with the clutch not engaged and then go away once you engage the clutch? Just an idea this happened to me.

 

aka throwout bearing. replace, problem solved.

throw out bearing??? i just changed to a new one in august with my new clutch! everything is all lubed up! damn it, not going to open up my trans for that damn bearing

it seems to only squeak when declerating, not acceleration.. so it's not the turbo?

how could it be the turbo? did u install the clutch?
