If your turbo set up runs decent at 6lbs, you should have no problem at all beating a your friends B16 if it's N/A

ok. so i understand that i can run it stock. cool.. i also have crank pulley and aem overdrive pulley set. add a lil more to his pain lol. my dude paid like $2300 total installation included for a b16a. i think thats high if u ask me for the research ive done on here and modfreaks.net. found a full greddy kit for $1799 ( i can make payments) but of course i dont get it untill i have it paid off. good deal? i just dont have cash like that. i kinda wana sell my ww front bumper (painted red same color as car) and get a lip for the front sides and rear i like the stock/sleeper look. i mean this kid ran a 15 flat with a b16 short ram intake and exhaust thats it! ooh.. will i need to buy a vtec controller if i boost? thanks guys!

The full greddy kit you can get for 1400. As for if you'll need a vafc or not it's up to you. I have one because I am running the afc hack rather than what greddy gives you as fuel management. You could peice together a kit by yourself for less than a 1000 if you really wanted to. I'm selling my greddy turbo, manifold and downpipe and upgrading cause the greddy turbo is nice but there just isnt enough topend power for me. It like cuts off at 6k.

Main peiced of the kit will be:

Turbo
Turbo manifold
downpipe
Intercooler
Blow off valve
Fuel Management
Charge pipes

That's basically it. THen all the hardware. People on here use HX manifolds with adapter plates. Go to http://www.homemadeturbo.com and read up. They have really good information.

had a friend that has since sold it but he had a D16 turbo running on 10lbs for 2 weeks, to say the least he ran a 13 flat! but like i said after 2 weeks of hard abuse the little fout banger gave out on my man! hahahah he rebuilt the dang thing like 6 times too, and clutches galore!

He was in the money if you know what i mean.....he had money to burn and time on his hands.

if your too lazy to search, you better not be too lazy to rebuild your bottom end after you grenade it.

a turbocharged engine is not something that can be reliably built overnight. you have to educate yourself a lot, unless you like breaking and fixing ****.

slow down. be patient and SEARCH SEARCH SEARCH, and READ READ READ.

sure you can beat that b16, but if you want to do it more than once, a great degree of patience will be required. take your time, educate yourself thouroughly, and don't rush. for a good starting point, i suggest you get the book maximum boost by corky bell - the best $25 i will have invested in my turbo system.

I installed a Greddy 15g kit on my D16z6.

I got: 235whp @ 12psi.....205trq

Its a stock D16 motor. I have a FMIC, running a afc-hack, and tuned/dnyo'ed.

I'm hoping to run low 13's with slicks.

Let me know if you have any questions!
