ok, i just got done replacing my climate control lights to amber bulbs...but once i put everything back together...(wires and heater cable) and now, whenever i move the tabs(from cold to warm) on the climate control, it seems like the cable is hitting something, now i have to really shove it to cold or warm...i know it's the heater cable, it keeps on hitting a plastic piece on the climate control, but i don't know how to fix it, i took everything back out and re-installed the heater cable it it's still hitting something, when i try to move the tab to cold and warmm....please help me sorry if i'm not clear about this, but it's kind of hard to explain

I know what you are talking about. Go under the dash where the actual heat/cold cable attaches under the dash (not on the back of the cluster and pop it out of it's little holder thing. Adjust the climate control all the way to cold, put the cable on the little thing that sticks down and then clip it into it's holder. Now check and see if the heat/cold slider will go the whole way. Sorry if this is unclear, if you need more help let me know!

 

ok thx, i will try that tomorrow morning, because it's so dark outside and my hands are sore and so scratched up from taking the climate control out

 

Yeah, I had the same problem, the heat/cool slider would'nt slide past like halfway at all unless I forced it and then it would just slide right back. This should fix it, and you may have to try it a couple times, but you should see what I'm talking about tomorrow morning! If you need anymore help post it on up!
