4th gen Climate Control Problem Please Help
I haven't been able to get my climate control cable on correctly. I get the cable installed and i never have enough force to get it to move to hot or cold. I can get it on hot but i can't get it to move to cold. Is the little hole behind the climate control meant for the cable to go through? There seems to be a lot of friction on the part the cable moves back and forth. Please give me some suggestions.
i took my stock climate control unit out to install LEDs and when i put it back in i had a little trouble with the cable as well... here's what the trouble was....
the cable is clamped down by a clamp with a screw on the underside of the unit, you have to make sure that the clamp bites into the sheath that's around the cable in order to hold it in place, but allow the cable to move freely inside it... if its not clamped on the sheath then it won't funciton properly and won't allow the lever to move all the way left (cold).... try that and see if it helps...
if you have more questions feel free to PM me or email
