Default Using ABS plastic pipes for compressor inlet to filter?

I found some 90 degree ABS plastic pipes on this site, and it seems perfect to attach to the compressor inlet so I can put a filter on a 60-1. Am I looking for trouble using ABS plastic? I doubt it seeing as how a lot of people use dryer ducting. Opinions anyone?

you probably want at least 200f rating for anything underhood.

The fact that your running a 60-1 means you got some cash. Run stainless steel or alumiumn with silicone couplers. I run PVC and it holds up fine but looks ugly. Its gonna get replaced with 304 series 3"stainless steel soon.

I ordered some other bends from JC Whitney but I couldn't find any place with a 4" 90 degree elbow. Checked a couple of local muffler shops and they didn't have any 4" piping in stock.

Anyone know the best place to get a mandrel bent elbow as the silicone elbow probably wouldn't hold the weight of the filter on the end.

Edit:
Found a place http://www.tanklesswaterheaters.com/fasnseal.html
Looks like these could work if anyone else is looking for 4" piping.
