In regards to someones post the other day, who has stored there car for the winter and can recommend a good cover. Either a name or website would be of great value. I bought one already and have used it but i dont think it will withstand the winter here in PA. So if you think you can help drop me a line. Thanks

The key is buying a quality, custom-made cover (so it fits perfectly, over the rear wing and such) in the fabric that fits your needs best. There are lots of different fabrics, and the companies that sell them have good info on their websites to help you choose.

Two of the biggest, with reputations for quality and good prices, are California Car Cover and Big Sky Car Cover.

 

Hey thanks man i appreciate the help very much....I did buy one on ebay and it fit very well actually but it rained the other day and the car got so much more wet then i ever thought it would. Do you recommend a breathable water resistent or a water proof which i dont know if they make breathable.

The layered fabrics (like Evolution 4) are one-way, so they keep moisture out but let condensation evaporate.

You don't want "waterproof" because it won't let condensation evaporate from under the cover.

Is the evolution 4 a cover??????? or a type of fabric.......Can you get those from the recommended companies that your suggested?

 

Evolution 4 is a fabric (made by Kimberly-Clark, the company that makes Kleenex). It is sold by California Car Cover as their "Stormweave" fabric, and under the Evolution name by Big Sky Car Cover.

No typically the only ones that will do that are the WATERPROOF ones. I checked out the ones reccomended and the Stormweave sounds like you wont run into rusting at all. I guess i will find out though, because i am def parking the car for the winter. Thanks nsxtasy for the help. Late
