okay im new to the boostin' scene, so bear with me. there is a h-t member selling his customs pistons and rods and he says the c/r is 8.5:1. i have a stock gsr motor with a drag gen 3 turbo kit. how much will my compression be lowered? and it still be reliable to lower it that much? i want to push more boost but im not sure if this is the way to go. any info would be helpful.

if they are GSR pistons, then they will put your motor at about 8.5:1...
