Default Motor rebuild Question(B18b and turbo setup)

alright, i currently own a95 teg with a ls motor with a drag gen 3 kit, now i just blew my motor (*oil smoke at all rpms), now i am going to rebuild the block and i had a few questions about what Rods and Pistons that i should go with.

1 . I plan on attaining the goal of 300+ whp . Now i was wondering what type of compression should i go with .

2. I live in houston tx and it gets really hot and i dont wnat my car pinging, so if some body would give some input on what compression would be good? also i dont want my car bogging.

3. what setup as far rods and pistons would be ideal in my position.

thanks

contact Rocket for your needs he can help you out....i order my ross pistons from him....

I've heard nothing but good things about ross and i'll let you know how they are in my setup.

i would think eagle rods would be fine. how much boost do you plan to run? then you can choose your compression
