Default AfterHourz....

i've been emailing and getting no response, ive been calling and not getting an answer, i get their voicemail, it says something along the lines of 'if you'd like to leave a message we will be happy to call you back' so i leave a message thinking they will call back, never get a phone call back, are these people as shady as it seems? i know i've been reading several bad things about them lately but wahts the deal.

i called them over a week ago, ive been emailing for 3 weeks, i dunno how to get in touch w/ these people, anybody know cuz they dont respond well to emails or phone calls? please share experiences or tips to getting in touch w/ them, thank you.

I got my turbo kit and flywheel from them. They are pretty good guys although they do take a while to get in contact with you sometimes. Just keep trying.

They went out of buisness from what place racing was saying. I know when they were in busniess they did a great job, ordered a cross member and got it with in a couple days.

my issue with this is when i called for my Cometic gasket, without me asking they gave me set up tips, and asked me about my set up , im like im not looking for your tips, but my set up is, blah blah blah, then he critiqued my set up abnd basically told me im crazy and i should do it his way . im like dude, your not building my motor and i dont knwo you , i just want the gasket i asked for, he goes on about how i should get a thicker one to lwoer my compression i say agian will you send me the one i want or will i got to another shop, so he takes my order and next day i get the wrong gasket, i get the ticker one like i didnt want. So i called back to complain, and he said i told him i wanted the thicker one. . . so i told him no i didnt i wanted the stock thickness , but his dumbass took it uopn himself to send me what he thougth i shoud use rather thna what i asked for . . . ******* guy is a doushe bag. Never agian will i order from there. they think they know moer thna they do

Here is the phone number...everytime that I called...the would pick up. I don't know why when you do it...they dont... 973-218-9222

I ordered my darton sleeves from them and got them in 4 or 5 days. Mike seemed pretty good to me, always answered my emails and when i talked to him on the phone he was pretty cool.

they closed up shop and havent taken the site down yet- if it says your payment is pending, your not going to be charged for it because they dont have any stock left and obviously wont be charging you or sending out any parts- theyve been closing out their dealings with all theyre distributors one by one and just have not had time to take the site offline yet. when they were in business theyre service was top notch regardless of what some people here say.

I have ordered a Tial waste gate thru them and it got to me about a week later. If they did go out of business, I guess I was lucky cuz this was about 1.5-2 months ago.

so youre trying to tell me that they charged your credit card for a revhard turbo kit? youve actually been charged for it? and as far as placing the order for the kit, how did you even do it- you havent been able to purchase revhard products on their site for weeks, they are one of the first products they took offline when they began to make the move to close

i just got off the fone w/ revhard and heres what happend [dont mind the fact that i copy pasted it from an IM w/ my friend]

braNdon martin: i told him the story

braNdon martin: but afterhourz owes us the payments for them

braNdon martin: i was like
braNdon martin: omg are you serious
braNdon martin: can you please check and see if one of those 3 kits are mine
braNdon martin: hes like brandon martin?

I have purchased several items from them, all good prices, but terrible ship times, just got my tial 38mm wastegate two days ago which I ordered two weeks ago. as of the weekend before last they were still doing business. To date I have purchased revhard dp and elbow, clutch & flywheel, and the new Tial 38mm.

this is the situation:

i order my kit 6/25/03.

i keep in touch w/ them through email [maybe 2 emails] the first week after purchasing, and get good, quick responses back.

after that week, they quit responding to my emails, the never answer there fone [calling 10+ times a day], they didnt return 3 voice mails. i was getting suspicious and noticed that rev hard was not on their site anymore....so i did a search on here, found a few bad comments, made this thread, find out they went out of buisness

ucall revhard, they have my kit sitting in the warehouse waiting to be shipped out along w/ several other kits, but they also cannot get in touch w/ afterhourz, and afterhourz owes them money.

i call my credit card company just to DOUBLE CHECK if they billed my credit card yet, and sure enough 2850 had been billed to the card.

anyways a dispute has been filed, and in 30 days i will have my money back, but it just ****** sucks what ive gone through and im not happy..

It does not take more than 5 minutes to turn the site off... Sounds shady to me if they are still processing credit card orders online
