master brake cylinder brace?
my guess would be that it keeps the master cylinder from shifting while braking, for firmer pedal response. kind of like what steel braided brake lines do. that would only be the marketed intent however, i doubt it would really make a difference. mostly cosmetics.
It does have it's benifits, but it's a matter of personal preference (people in here don't like it b/c they say you loose brake prssr moderation) . It does improve brake feel, in the same manner SS brakes lines do. IE: Neither a brace or SS lines shorten stopping distance but they both do increase pedal sensitivity.

Can I ask why you have a wristband or whatever that is over your resevoir, does it have a purpose?
Just curious I have seen a couple people with it covered like that but didn't know if it was for a reason.
Thanks
Mike

I have tha brake brace installed on my car it is made by cusco. It does help pedal feel a little by getting rid of the flex from the firewall. This is a common upgrade on circuit cars because of the constant harsh braking they are put through.

they collect all the dirt and crap that build up around the base of the cap so instead of cleaning the res. off before removing the cap you just take the band off...
