will really small chare piping work (if its the size of the turbos exit)?
I am doing a sohc homemade setup (who isnt?) and I have a oyoa turbo and a dsm sidemount intercooler, the exit on the urbo and the entry on the intercooler are very small and I can have aluminum piping made in this diameterr for very very cheap. Will it have any negative downsides? its only like 1.5inches diameter but I thought hat if the turbos exi is the same size it wouldnt help to be any bigger (just like crush bent exhausts dont help much)

makes no sense

yeah, try to stay at about 2", because the air does expand after it passes through your intercooler. Anything bigger than 2" is overkill at low boost, and anything bigger than your TB is overkill at ANY boost level.
