Default Which MSD for Drag car?

Just wondering what everybody is using? I have a 6AL but want to upgrade which one you guys recomend? for a full out ALL Motor drag car! Thanks Rob

dpeending on your setup you can go with a digital 7 or 7 plus.

Just wondering why it would matter on my set-up? as long as I'm All Motor, not Turbo or anything? and what's the diffrence between the 7 and 7plus? Thanks for your reply. Rob

It all depends on what you are doing. If you have an aftermarket ECU than all you really need is a 6A. Something that just intensifies the spark all rev limiters and spark control can be handled through the ECU. If you are going with individual coils I would suggest a DIS-4, but of course handle spark and timing through the computer and not the MSD. In my personal opinion though on your all motor car use the stock ignition system it will work fine.

hey rob it sounds like your building a monster,
you definetly raised the bar for our area with your last set up and i have no doubts you will do it again

I'm getting ready to switch over from ecu to DFI. Do i need my MSD 6 anymore and do Inedd my ecu anymore, what do i need to run dfi all motor thanks

Hey thanks Matt, I want to keep it on the down low though!
I will be running a fuel cell and big pump maybe Hondata. Thanks for your help guys. Rob
