you'll need to change a few things like the blower pulley and you'll need to buy a crank for the y8. You'll need some other things also.

 

yeah, I think one uses a 3 rib belt, where the other motor uses a 4 rib belt.

I recently tried putting a used JRSC from a 92-5 Civic EX/Si on a 96-00 Civic EX and the blower pulley would not clear the drivers side shock tower, I assume that is why you are being told you will have to buy a new (blower) pulley.

 

You need a 3 rib blower pulley and a new crank pulley. The reasons being that the y8 crank is super heavy compared to the z6 one. And the 3 rib design is for space.
