Default quick quesion on 97 coupe ex

Does it have ABS?

Looking at doing rear disk conversion, seeing if i'll run into any problems along those lines.

"DC2 rear disc brakes. Everything that you need to convert drums to discs on a 92-00 civic. Ebrake lines and regular brake lines included."

gonna pick this up, was informed that if you don't have disks to begin with that ABS does not effect it.

Not all EX coupes have ABS, just the automatic ones.

Canadian Ex's have rear disc brakes and ABS, my friend has it on his. look for the #2 as the first number in the VIN code. 2 represents candadian model.

ABS was an option with the 4 wheel disk brakes. If you are converting to disk brakes, then no you don't have it. One easy way to check is to go out and slam on the brakes. If they lock up, then nope.
