Ok..I put an 98 b18b in my boys eg with an p75 obd1 ls ecu and his stock map senser is on the firewall and is wired straight into the main harness. The ls motor has the senser on the TB and is wired into the engine harness witch is pluged into the main harness. Am I suposted to splice the new TB MAP senser into the extra clip that comes off the MAIN harness(witch wires?) or am I suposted to leave it hooked up to the engine harness that came with th b18b and not hook up the old map harness?

Some one has GOT to know this!

 

The 3rd wire on the MAP sensor wire on a DX is Yellow/green.

the third wire on the throttle type is Yellow/Red

your best bet is to just get a LS harness

 

unplug the one on firewall and put on plug on the tb. if you need Ls harness i got it

I am using an ls harness! I am using an ls engine harness which is plugged into the stock civic tower clips (main harness) witch goes to my p75.

I am still not sure if you understand me??? The ls engine harness has a clip on it for the map. You are saying NOT to use this and just let it hang correct?? There is also an map sensor plug right off of the civics MAIN harness witch you are telling me to use for my TB MAP right?? This makes sense since I am using an obd1 (p75) ecu so the pin outs would be the same as the civic.
Since the civics clip for the map is different, i change the plug to the ls one with the&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;YELLOW/GREEN going to the RED/GREEN..
Is This correct???
