Are you changing harnesses? Or this is your stock harness? If its your stock harness then the engine harness one is for the TPS it sounds like, chassis harness is wired to the map.

Re: two map sensor plugs? what to do? (MR.johnson)
I'm having the same issue. I have a 93 HB w/ b18 swap (EG harnesses w/ B18 engine harness.) I have 2 map sensor connectors and 2 map sensors. I think I have determined which MAP sensor plug is the right one to use, but I'm still curious as to what to do with the other one.
I have one thats in the harness for the engine, and the other one I seems to run along the firewall, but I can't find where it connects to. I have a map sensor on the firewall that the stock motor used, and I have one on the TB that the B18 uses. Any ideas?
Edit: Also, I was running the both connectors connected, one to each MAP, and the car seemed to run ok. If I disconnect the MAP from the firewall, the car runs funny and throws a CEL. If I plug the firewall connector to the MAP on the TB and leave the connector that looks like it obviously goes there disconnected (along with the MAP on the firewall disconnected) the car runs fine.

the only way you could have two connectors for the MAP sensor is if you have two harnesses on the car/engine.
Each harness has one connector for the MAP sensor, if you have what appears to be two, then one of them is supposed to go somewhere else.
list which harness you have and what color wires you have at the plugs and I should be able to tell you where they go.

Re: (Relic1)
I'll get them ASAP. OMW out at the moment and will be dark by the time I get back. I'll try and get some pic's as well and get those up tomorrow afternoon.
Thanks for the response, and pre-thanks on the help.

No, some Civics had a firewall mounted MAP sensor. If they originally came with a firewall mounted MAP, the MAP wiring is in the body harness instead of the engine harness. You can do this a couple ways to have it ONLY in the engine harness.
Way one would be to unwrap the wiring going to your firewall mounted MAP then run the wires up to the strut tower plugs. Solder and heat shrink the correct terminals (make sure you have the seals on the wires before you do this) to the wires and pin them correctly into the strut tower plugs.
Second way is to leave that wiring intact and run wires all the way from the ECU to the strut tower plugs.
I recently swapped a 1993 Civic DX coupe that had the firewall mounted MAP sensor; I think that some 1992 and some 1993 cars had this....

Yes, some but not all is correct. My 92 D15B8 had a TB mounted Map, and when I got my B16A, it used a firewall mounted MAP. I got a MAP from a 93 (IIRC) DX D15B7, but I have seen plenty of B7s with TB mounted Maps.
