since VAFC install - Car is much slower, and slow to climb through the RPMS
Just installed a VAFC, now my car is running slower than it should and I don't hear vtec engage any more. My air/fuel numbers look the same I have a 95 civic w/ a JDM B162nd gen motor.
When first driving it last night, I noticed that VTEC was weak and also that it kicked in to damn early. I found that it was set to kick in at 4800 RPMs. I changed it to 5800 RPMs, it worked fine after that, in fact it seems a bit more powerful than usual.
This morning, however, VTEC never engages and all my setting appear to be as they were yesterday, but I will look again.
Is there anyway to have the VAFC connected but have it leave all the stock setting alone?
I have no Check engine lights, and have driven about 80 miles so far.

Well there's really not that much to say... If all of the fuel settings are set to zero, and your vtec cross-over is about the same, the vafc should have no effect on your car.
The only thing I can think of that might be causing you the problems is that you or someone else did a hack job on the wiring(poor connections), the vtec pressure sensor is bad, or you car is low on oil...
