Yah i just pulled it. Now what should go in? I am thinking jdm type r with p&p head with some toda spec b's any other suggestions?
yea i suggest you leave the b18c5 the way it is if ur going that route............
btw: just so u know, the R's head basically is a p&p'ed b16 head with cams/valves/springs/retainters that make power toward the nearly 9k redline..........
so there isnt much more to ask for out of this head

Wrong.
You can get awesome gains from head work and tuning on a c5.

Yah i agree. I know what your saying about how its good in all but thats why im staring with the c5 to make it better. I was gonna build a b16 til i thought thats all you are really doing is making it a type r with a shorter stroke. So why not just use the R motor instead
get the type R play with it for a while see how it runs.
Then get some toda C's and toda valve train and maybe some head work and high compression pistons and a good header then rev that baby up to like 10rpm and have fun

thats funny
my honda builders handbook has the specs on the JDM ITR camshafts specs/..
and they are basically the best u can get
they are almost 290 degrees duration////
and the skunk stage 2 are 265 degree duration.... wonder wich one makes more power......
the stock honda Type R camshafts are already IMO the best cams u can get for a DOHC motor.....
i always say CTR intake cam ITR exhaust cam..... and ur done
