well i did it with no knowledge so here it goes its still exspensive pprob more then a jused tranny but here we go you need to take tranny of motor unbolt all bolts around the tranny then the ones oon the side with springs and ball bearings then there is a hex bolt up top take that out now you should be able to crack the case crack the two halfes then get a something to strecth the clip up top with then ccompletly remove the upperhousing find a way to lock the gears take the 32mm sockert of the countershaft
now remove everything piece by piece keep it in order and replace whats worn some bearings washers synchros sleeves etc whatever it needs but remember these parts cost more then a used tranny and if your hard on trannys making new will only make it last a little longer lol ok thats about it anything else?

Step #1...get a helms manual...there is no way you're gonna get anything done without the helms. Read over what you need to do over and over again until you know what to do. I had to open my tranny up to replace a bearing, thats all I had to do. What all are you planning to do? Replace bearings and synchros? Make sure you get a helms. Mista Bone rebuilds trannys as a hobby, he knows everything...you should talk to him.
