Default I have a problem with my Clutch! Help

My clutch rattles when I release my foot off the clutch, but when I step and hold down on the clutch it stays quite. Anyone had this problem before? I just changed my clutch today and still having the same problem. Any tips or know a way to shut this ******* thing up? Thanks

Did you replace the throw-out bearing?

It's possible the new T-O bearing is bad, but try this...

Engine running in neutral, clutch engaged (foot off the pedal). It'll be rattling, right? Quickly disengage the clutch (foot down) & listen.

A loose rattling T-O bearing will stop almost instantly. A noisy input shaft bearing in the transmission will take a couple seconds to stop because the input shaft takes a couple seconds to coast to a stop.

did you also replace the pressure plate and resurface/replace the flywheel? If its gripping, perhaps it needs adjustment.
