Default sorry guys i know its in the wrong section but i need help *audio*...

i tried the search but nuthing came up and i know im in the wrong section but i hopefully one of you guys can hela me out asap.... ok heres the deal i got a sony deck from my friend and i need help installing it, i have a 90 crx SI wit a stock deck and i just wanna know were these wires go
white-
white w/ blk stripe-
blue-
blue w/ blk stripe-
grey-
grey w/ blk stripe-
purple-
purple w/ blk strip-
blue-
blue w/white stripe-
light blue-
i kno these are....
red-power
yellow-memory
black-ground
please correct me if im wrong, it would be nice if ther was a diagram that maybe one of u might have...... thanks guys

what are you asking for? be more specific, do you need the factory wire colors?

I ASSUME you're saying that those are the wires left in your car after removing the previous headunit...and you want to know how those match up to your new Sony deck. If that is the case...then what I did, was I first hooked up my power, and ground, and Illum. (Mine has this...it's to control dim functions and such, I don't use it...)...so that I could then use the CD player- or at least it would turn on. I then started with one of the front left speaker wires. I went wire by wire, until I got sound out of that speaker.


As stated above, it's sort of hard to answer, because it's hard to tell what you're wanting..

if you're stock harness isn't chop then go to an audio shop and buy a harness. it cost like $10- $14. after you plug in the harness, just match all the wire to your sony deck. its that simple.

So those wire colors that you listed are they for the sterio or are they the stock wire colors??
