Bike sitting for too long?
This may be a stupid question but I'm a n00b so help me out here. So im trying to find a 250 to learn on and I found a brand new 2003 EX-250 with only 75 Miles on the clock. He is what the girl said about the bike:
She bought the bike this spring(may) and rode the bike 2 times and it has been sitting in her parents garage ever since.
Now assuming it was sitting there with gas in it and no prep done i guess that would be a bad thing much like letting it sit during the winter right? I just sent her a message to ask her if she did anything to the bike while it sat, like starting it or something like that so i have to see what she says.
So do I have anything to be worried about here or is there something i should look at when i go see the bike, or am i just paranoid?

THe only real problem that exists when letting a bike sit is the gas. Without a stabilizer in it varnish will form in the carbs. Nothing that a squirt of carb cleaner won't take care of.
After 4 months, it won't be a problem though especially on a bike so new. It may be hard to start at first that's all.
Cheers,
Roy
