Default I think my axle(s) is bad, please help me!

Yea, I just bought this car. It's a 94 Civic CX with a B18C1 GSR swap. Beofre I bought it, the axles were making this damn clicking noise, but he "fixed" it when I bought it. I looked, the boots were good....and it drove ok. But now when I'm cruising there is a vibration and ANNOYING clicking noise, I dont think it is my brakes, it wouldnt be THAT loud. It didnt even get that bad til' this week. Someone help please! If anyone knows someone selling a GSR axle let me know

Sounds like the axle popped out of the joint to the tranny, happened to me before, bad vibration feels like your riding over rocks, right?

I don't know how to explain it better.

i wouldn't drive it anymore, like schism
said the axle probably came out of the cv casing and one or more of your bearings are probably broke. If you can find these bearings then you could just replace them but i couldnt and just ended up replacing my driver side axle.

You can buy the lifetime warranty axle(s) from Bennet Auto Supply (or is it Discount Auto Parts?) - I hear they work pretty decent, and it's a lifetime warranty. But I doubt you want to keep pulling the axle out and replacing it if it's crappy craftsmanship.

I say just head over to raxle and do it right with some stage1s both driver and passenger. You should be fine then.

I would just try to undo the axle nut and ram it back in to the transmition. He probably didn't seat the snap ring all the way.

Get your axle(s) from Bennet Auto Supply, you get a lifetime warranty if I'm not mistaken, or goto http://www.raxles.com and get performance ones.

Is it like a jiggly feeling? And at certain speeds/rpm? My car shakes real bad right now after installing my new clutch. Not while everyday driving, but when I hammer on it during higher rpm's, pretty much when I'm boosting. It may just be that one of the wheels isn't on right. Any other guesses?
